Yamaha Virago XV535. OK for A2 license. in Exeter, Devon for sale

I'm selling my Virago because of a back injury that stops me sitting in the upright position for very long. I've owned it since last summer and done a lot of work on it tidying it up, servicing it and replacing anything that needed doing. It's a 1998 bike with 43,000 miles on it. MOT is to 31st October. It runs and rides very nicely, the engine is torquey and doesn't rattle or smoke. There's no slack in the drive shaft or box, and it brakes and handles just as it should. If the riding position suits, it's rather fun to ride. Mechanically, I'm very pleased with it. Cosmetically, it's not bad. The tank has three shallow 5p sized dents in it, one of the side panels is a different colour (black), the front seat has a tape repair to the lower front (not really visible) and the alloy on the engine could do with a good session with a polishing wheel. It's not immaculate, but certainly better than average for a bike of it's age. Note - The picture is of a bike similar to mine, from the internet (I'm away from home at the moment). If you're into polishing and painting bikes, mine could look like that one without major expense. Although, as it is, it's certainly not embarrassing to be seen on. If you're looking for a show winner, this isn't the bike for you. But if you're looking for a mechanically good, tidy bike with a low seat height that would respond well to some cosmetics, then this is ideal.
