Audi A4 Avant Quattro 2.0 TFSI S Line Special Edition 2006 Spare / Repairs in Exeter, Devon for sale

I am regrettably selling my Audi A4 Avant S Line Special Edition. This car is excellent but has suffered from the common problem of oil pressure failure which has been known to beset the 2.0 TFSI. I am not able to commit the funds to fix it due to a recent house purchase. Washing it again today reminded me why I love it though. This A4 is a Quattro Avant. The 4x4 system holds the road extremely well and is sure footed in wet, icy or snowy conditions so is perfect for the British weather. The practicality of the estate is very useful and has roof bars for that extra load capacity or for bikes etc. This is a Special Edition model so comes with the more powerful 220 Bhp 2.0 litre turbo engine with a BUL engine code. It also has upgraded 18" multi spoke alloy wheels and a two tone leather interior as well as the usual S Line body kit and refinements which really make this a good looking sports estate as well as having the go to match the looks. Mileage is approx. 132,000 but has been fully serviced by main dealers or specialists. Comes with a full history. I only have one key though. MOT expires October 2015 with an advisory for corrosion to the exhaust. Bodywork is in good condition for age and mileage. The paint is Dolphin grey metallic which I think is the best colour Audi do. There are a few stone chips on the bonnet but the paint work still gleams and comes up a treat with some wax. One or two very minor scratches and some scratches on the rear bumper where items have been loaded into the boot. All the panels are straight and solid. Panel gaps are all good and no signs of any repairs. The wheels really look good on this car and are one of the best parts of this special edition. All are in good condition with some minor kerbing and build up of road tar etc in those hard to reach places. The tyres have plenty of life left in them and are evenly worn. The engine was running smoothly and pulling like a train throughout the rev range before the failure. The manual gearbox shifts smoothly and precisely. The clutch feels like it has plenty of life left in it. Suspension works as it should with no knocks or bangs. The interior is in very good condition and you would be forgiven for thinking this car was much younger. The leather interior is in very good condition with no tears or bagginess. All the electrical devices work as they should. Climate control is ice cold and was fully serviced last summer. Heated seats are nice in winter! Load space in the boot is very good particularly with the seats folded flat. I added a set of rubber Sportline mats for the footwells to protect the carpets. The boot also has a full size mat to protect the load bay. These cars still fetch very good money looking at completed Greatbritainlisted listings. So for someone with the cash to invest this could be brought back to life and make a really superb car or a nice little profit. Priced to sell so grab a bargain. I was advised that this could potentially result in a rebuild or replacement engine. However, I don't have the funds to start something I may not be able to finish so no further investigation took place. There are some stone chips on the bonnet consistent with age / mileage. It is in otherwise excellent condition. No warranty is offered. I have been honest and described the faults to the best of my knowledge but you must examine the vehicle yourself and make your own assessment before purchase.
